Liquipel – Make Your Phone Watersafe

Liquipel™ is a revolutionary process that applies a watersafe™ coating to your electronic devices to protect them in the event of accidental exposure to liquids. It is not visible to the human eye, virtually undetectable and Liquipel™ will not compromise the look, feel, and performance of your electronics. Liquipel™ is a Nano-Coating that is applied though a propriety process. This process starts by placing devices into the chamber of the Liquipel™ Machine. The Machine then removes all the air to create a vacuum, a special formula is then introduced as a vapor. The vapor then permeates the entire device inside and out, Liquipel™ then bonds to the device on a molecular level, leaving your device watersafe™ for years to come. Check out our GITEX 2012 Trade video coverage to see Liquipel in action. Provided By :

Microsoft’s Surface Tablet release date confirmed

Annual reports may look like a long list of boring paragraphs where executives just want to see the bottom line, but quite often there’are a lot of hidden gems in them. Take for instance Microsoft’s latest annual report for the year ending 30th June, 2012. In here we learn about the release date of Microsoft’s Surface tablet, as found by Tom’s Hardware . “The next version of our operating system, Windows 8, will be generally available on October 26, 2012,” the report said. “At that time, we will begin selling the Surface, a series of Microsoft-designed and manufactured hardware devices.” Sadly there’s no mention of whether both the ARM and Intel based tablets will go on sale at the same time, or just one of the models. It will also be interesting to see the how much push partner firms are going to have for their own Windows 8 based tablets since they will be launched at the same time. Provided By:

Bill Gates likes Windows 8

Geek hero and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates says he has been using Windows 8 and is “very pleased with it”. We are not sure if he was expected to say differently – he might not be heavily involved with Microsoft anymore, but he is still very much with the company. Gates was asked for his opinion during an AP interview about his Foundation’s key role in a new global campaign against polio. Despite concerns among game developers and hardware manufacturers, Gates believes the new OS will be a “big deal” and hardware partners are doing great things to take advantage of [its] feature.” Windows 8 releases on October 26.
